Today, June 1, my darling Edison becomes a teenager. Today is his 13th birthday. Bill and I rescued this cat from a storm drain at Edison High School, hence the name Edison. He was about 18-months old when the dramatic rescue took place.
Eddie's full name is Edison James Kittycat Koenig. When we rescued Edison, he was all skin and bones, and weighed about 7lbs. Okay, he doesn't weigh 7lbs any more ... let's just say, he's big boned!
He loves to cuddle, especially at night, when we are watching TV, and he's devoted to his little sister, Sienna. He doesn't like Ella, because she is a diva, and is rather bossy. He hates bossy cats. He's gentle, a true marshmellow, and a sweetie pie.
