Crown Princess Victoria's attendants

The Royal Palace earlier today released the names of Crown Princess Victoria's attendants. The princess's ten bridesmaids and pages are:

HRH Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands, 6, the eldest daughter of Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands.

HRH Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway, 6, eldest child of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway

HRH Prince Christian of Denmark, eldest child of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.

All three children are Victoria's godchildren, and future sovereigns.

Baroness Madeleine von Dincklage, 11, the daughter of Baroness Sybilla von Dincklage, the eldest child of Princess Margaretha of Sweden.

Baron Ian de Geer, 8, the son of Baroness Tina and Baron Hans de Geer. Tina is the daughter of Princess Desiree of Sweden.

Sybilla and Tina are Victoria's first cousins.

Three Sommerlath cousins are also in the bridal party. Vivi Sommerlath, 15, is the daughter of the late Jörg Sommerlath, Queen Silvia's brother. Giula Sommerlath, 14, is the daughter of Thomas Sommerlath, another brother of Queen Silvia. Leopold Sommerlath, 7, is the son of Patrick Sommerlath, the son of the Queen's brother, Ralf. Leopold is a first cousin once removed to the bride.

Daniel Westling's two nieces, Hedwig, 11, and Vera, 6, Blom, the daughters of his sister, Anna Westling Blom, are also in the bridal party.

i'm slightly surprised that Princess Isabella isn't going to be in it, since the family will obviously be there anyway as Prince Christian is taking part. but i guess it makes sense given that the only royal children involved are Victoria's godchildren.

Should not be a surprise because Isabella is only 3 - and not a godchild - nor is Ingrid Alexandra's brother in the wedding party -- Eleonore of Belgium is also a godchild, but she's only 2.
