Prince and Princess Francois Croy have arrived in New York aboard the French liner Province. According to the Marquise de Fontenoy, the couple, who belong to the French branch of the ducal family of Croy, will spend a short time in New York City "before making an extended trip through the United States."
The Prince is a Captain of the One Hundred and Forty-seventh regiment of the French infantry, and has been based at Sedan. Three years ago he married the "pretty Simone de Chaponay," daughter of the Count de Chaponay. They have one little girl, two-year-old Princess Maximillienne, who remains in France with Prince Francois's mother.
