Daughter of Mexican financier weds Czar's Chamberlain

June 1, 1896

Miss Prudenciana Milmo, daughter of Senor Patricio Milmo of Mexico, was married today in New York to Prince Albrecht Radziwill. Both the bride and groom come "of noted families," reports the Los Angeles Times.
The bride's father "has been a power in Mexican finance for many years." Prince Radziwill "can trace his family history into pre-Christian times." His father, Prince Maciej Radziwill, is one of Nicholas II's chamberlains. The Radziwills have a large estate at Poloneczka, near Miwalk.
The Roman Catholic wedding was performed by Archbishop Corrigan, and the "musical part of ceremony was especially elaborate."
The church was "filled with guests, only third, "made up of the bridal party, clergy and family connections, attended the wedding breakfast" at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kelly, Jr.
On Wednesday, the newlyweds will sail for Europe.
