In the French newspapers, Paris Midi, Francis Chanel predicts that Edward VIII's future queen will be "English, good beautiful and a sportsman."
Chanel names four candidates: Lady Anne Hope, 22, the daughter of the Viceroy of India; Lady Mary Grosvenor, 26, daughter of the Duke of Westminster; Lady Angela Montagu-Douglas-Scott, 29, sister of the Duchess of Gloucester; and Lady Lettice Ashley-Cooper, 25, daughter of the Earl of Shaftsbury.
