The Kaiser speaks

A recently found wax cylinder recording of Kaiser Wilhelm's notorious Hun Speech during the Boxer Rebellion.

The speech was made at Bremerhaven on July 27, 1900 as several German transport ships were ready to bring 2000 troops to China.

There are a few recordings of Wilhelm's voice available to listen at the National WWI Museum in Kansas City. It's a wonderful museum, with many excellent artifacts and info. It's also not so huge of a museum that's it's overwhelming - it's easy to see in one day without picking and choosing what to see. It's easily one of my favorite museums.
