Grand Duchess stands for the Belgian anthem

Grand Duchess Anastasia of Mecklenburg-Schwerin was present for a gala concert in Milan on November 30. The concert, which was held at the Scala Theatre by "the press of the city, on behalf of the Belgian war sufferers." When the Belgian's national anthem was played, the Grand Duchess stood up "as if to emphasize her sympathy with the applauding audience." The Grand Duchess, who was born a Russian Grand Duchess, is the mother-in-law of Germany's Crown Prince.
