A little prince is baptized
A royal baptism took place this past weekend at Schloss Marienburg, near Hanover.
The nearly two-month old son of Hereditary Prince Ernst August and Hereditary Princess Ekaterina was baptised in the palace's chapel, according to the rites of the Lutheran church.
The infant prince was named Welf August. The child's godparents are Princess Olympia of Greece and Denmark and Julio Santo Domingo.
Prince Welf August is the second child of the Hereditary Prince and Princess. Their daughter, Princess Elisabeth is nearly 15 months old. The guests at the baptism and reception that followed included Ernst August's younger brother, Prince Christian and his wife, Princess Alessandra, Crown Princess Marie Chantal of Greece and Denmark and Andrea and Tatiana Casiraghi.
One photograph appeared on an Instagram account. The owner of that account has removed the photograph as several people have copied without permission.
