The New York Times reports today that Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovitch of Russia, younger brother of Nicholas II, was not assassinated by the Bolsheviks, "but is now in Siam." This is according to Nicholas Breshkovsky, a Russian author, writing in the French newspaper, Figaro.
Breshkovsky "asserts that the grand duke escaped from Perm," where he had been held by the Bolsheviks, and he "fled to the depths of Siberia." He reached Siam "after a long adventurous voyage and was received by King Chao Fa Maha Vajiravud," who is married to a Russian woman.
The report further states that Grand Duke Michael "is still with the king of Siam and is waiting developments in Russia."
