Grand Duchess Elisabeth Feodorovna of Russia, the widow of Grand Duke Serge, who was assassinated at Moscow in February 1905, "has retured to a Russian convent near Moscow, according to the New York Times. She may "take the veil."
Since the death of her husband and the marriage of her niece, Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna, to Prince Wilhelm of Sweden, the Grand Duchess has "withdrawn almost entirely from society."
