The New York Times publishes today a report "received from Schwerin that the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin" will visit Gmunden in a few days on behalf of Wilhelm II "to confer with the Grand Duke's father-in-law, the Duke of Cumberland, in regard to the Brunswick succession."
The Grand Duke's sister, Cecilie, is married to Crown Prince Wilhelm, the Kaiser's heir apparent.
