Archduke Otto calls for a united Europe

September 1, 1951

An Austrian newspaper today allowed Archduke Otto, the pretender to the Austrian throne, "present his political views for what is believed to be the first time since the collapse of the old Austrian-Hungarian empire," reports the Associated  Press.

In a front page article, Otto called for the "forming of an economically and spiritually united Europe."
