Fascinating. Are there any other instances from the late 19th century to the present of a woman with Jewish ancestry marrying non-morganatically into a royal house?

Stephanie's marriage was morganatic, and arranged rather quickly as she was pregnant with Arcduke Franz Salvator's child (he was married to Archduchess Valerie.)

She wasn't given another title by the head of the house -- and by the time of the divorce, there was no monarchy -- so let's just say she used her name as a title ... read Martha Schad's book.
