The Chicago Daily Tribune published today a report from The Times (London) on Princess Emma of Waldeck und Pyrmont, the young fiancee of the King of the Netherlands. The Princess, who was born on August 2, 1858, is the third of second children of Prince Georg Viktor, who "resigned his sovereignty to Prussia. According to "present arrangements" the civil marriage between the King and Princess Emma will be celebrated, by proxy," at the bride's home, Schloss Arolsen. The "solemn blessing of the Church" will take place at the Cathedral in Amsterdam.
