more rumors about William and Kate

NBC's Jim Maceda reported today on the latest rumors regarding an engagement between Prince William and Kate Middleton.  The report was seen this morning on The Today Show.

British Journalist Robert Jobson, who covers the royals for the Express, stated that wedding will take place in July.  He said July 23rd had been "penciled in."   No offense, Mr. Jobson, but I sincerely doubt William and Kate will choose the same date as the Duke of York's marriage to Sarah Ferguson.
A lot of fuss was also made about the recent visit of Kate's parents to Birkhall.  Maceda said that the Middletons were invited to Balmoral, and this is said to be significant.  Well. let's put this into perspective.  Kate's parents were not invited to Balmoral, which is the Queen's residence.  They stayed with William and Kate at Birkhall, which is the residence of the Prince of Wales, on the Balmoral estate. Neither the Prince of Wales nor the Duchess of Cornwall were present for William's shooting party.  Birkhall is also William's home, and he hosted a shooting party, where the guests included Carole and Michael Middleton.
William enjoys being with Kate's parents.  They also accompanied William and Kate on a skiing holiday several years ago.
Carole and Michael were not invited to Balmoral.  They were guests of William at Birkhall, a huge difference.
Will William and Kate become engaged by Christmas ... so she can attend the family's Christmas dinner at Sandringham?
As I have said several times, I believe the engagement will be announced tomorrow at the earliest and no later than the end of March .  The wedding will take place between the end of June and the first week of August.  The wedding may not take place on a Saturday.  The Prince of Wales' and the Duke of York's weddings took place on a Wednesday.
