"Her Majesty Queen Margrethe was admitted to Rigshospitalet on Sunday after feeling unwell.
Doctors have detected a new blood clot in the hip region and mild dehydration, both of which are being treated.
Queen Margrethe is in good spirits and, given the circumstances, is doing well.
Queen Margrethe is expected to be hospitalized next week for both observation and treatment. This means that Her Majesty will unfortunately not attend King Harald V's funeral in Oslo on Wednesday.
The Royal House will announce when there is news."
