Pauline is the second of four children of Duke Philipp of Württemberg and his former wife, Duchess Marie Caroline in Bavaria.
Count Constantin's older sister, Nathalie, is married to Prince Georg von der Leyen and zu Hohengeroldseck, the second son of Prince Philipp Erwein von der Leyen and zu Hohengeroldseck.
