Hereditary Prince Ludwig of Waldburg zu Wolfegg und Waldsee and Countess Maria of Seilern-Aspang were married on September 5 at Altenburg Abbey in Austria. They married civilly at Schloss Waldsee in Bad Waldsee.
Ludwig is the son of Johannes, 7th Prince von Waldburg zu Wolfegg und Waldsee, and Viviana dei Conti Rimbotti. His wife is the daughter of Count Thomas von Seilern und Aspang and Baroness Sophie von Gudenus.
Ludwig and Marie are fourth cousins, as both are great-great-great-grandchildren of Count Bohuslav Chotek von Chotkowa and Countess Wilhelmine Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau.
Ludwig's line of descent is through Bohuslav's daughter Oktavia, who married Count Joachim of Schönburg-Glauchau. Their daughter, Adelheid, married Franz Ludwig, 5th Prince of Waldburg zu Wolfegg und Waldsee:

Marie is a descendant of Oktavia's sister, Sophie, who married Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, whose assassination in Sarajevo in June 1914 triggered the start of the First World War.
