There are reports in St Petersburg, Russia, that the Empress Alexandra is expecting a "visit from the stork." according to a cable to the Chicago Tribune.
The Empress' physician recently left St. Petersburg for Livadia to join the imperial family.

so was this a false report, or was there a miscarriage?
or was this the 1903 event, and the date is a typo?
date correct... pure speculation. More likely health issues for Empress and/or Alexis
