The Reign in Spain

This is one of the better days for the Spanish royal family as Infanta Cristina, who was charged today with tax fraud and money laundering by a judge in Palma de Mallorca.

She must appear in court on March 8.

The charges are not as strong as an indictment, and could be thrown out of court before March.

In other news,  a recent poll shows 62% of the population who want King Juan Carlos to abdicate in favor of his only son, the Prince of Asturias, who has a 66% approval rating.
