A new royal engagement.
HRH Duchess Amelie of Württemberg is engaged to Baron Franz-Ferdinand von Feilitzsch. The engagement was announced earlier today.
Duchess Marie-Amélie Diane Katherine Beatrix Philippa Sophie was born at Ravensburg on March 11, 1996. She is the second of three children of the late HRH Duke Friedrich Philipp Carl Franz Maria of Württemberg (1961-2018) and HSH Princess Wilhelmine Marie zu Wied (1973).
Her older brother, Wilhelm, is now the Duke of Württemberg, succeeding their grandfather, Carl who died in June. She also has a younger sister, Duchess Sophie-Dorothee.
Baron Franz-Ferdinand Leopold Lazarus von Feilitzsch was born on November 21, 1997, at Tegernsee, the third child and only son of Baron Louis-Ferdinand Lazarus von Feilitzsch (1967) and Johanna Sofie Strabolakos (1965), He has two older sisters, Elena, who is married to Alexander Turi, and Sophia.
Hanna von Feilitzsch is a novelist.

The Duchess is a concert violinist. She studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and the Royal Academy of Music in London. I wonder if she has ever used a "Baron Feilitzsch" Stradivari violin.
