Countess Diane von Neipperg to marry Spanish aristocrat

 

Countess Diane von Neipperg and Manuel Heredia de Liniers are engaged to be married.  She is the third of five children of Count Stephan-Christoph of Neipperg and Baroness Sigweis von Stotzingen.

Stephan is the younger brother of Kar-Eugen, Count von Neipperg.  He has managed the family's Bordeaux estates since 1983.  His family acquired the property in 1971.

Countess Maria Diane Andrea Manuela-Franziska Gabrielle von Neipperg was born in Talence, France on January 19, 1990.

Don Manuel Heredia de Liniers is the youngest of two children of  Don Manuel de Heredia y Halcón, Marqués de Prado and Miriam de Liniers Barreiros.  He  was born in Madrid on March 22, 1992.  Manuel has one older sister,  Carlota.

His paternal grandfather,  Julio de Heredia y Albornoz, 13th Marqués de Prado and 14th Marqués de Bedmar, who died in 1982, was an aide de camp to King Juan Carlos of Spain.   Julio's wife,  María Dolores Halcón Borrero was the Marqués de Villar de Tajo in her own right.

The couple lives and works in Munich.  Countess Diane is a psychological psychotherapist.  Manuel, who has a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nottingham, is a Customer Success Senior Consultant with Qualtrics.


In January,  Diane's sister Countess Philippa became engaged to Count Philipp von Brockdorff.
