Count Bolko denies engagement
September 15, 1906. Speaking through his lawyer, Count Bolko von Hochberg has denied that his son, Count Hans Ferdinand, is engaged to Miss Louise Carow, who lives in Berlin. He also denied that he was responsible for Miss Carow being denied a landing permit in the United States. According to the newspaper article, which was based on German sources, the wedding was to have taken place at Ossining, New York.
