H Ill H Countess Marie-Gabrielle zu Königsegg-Aulendorf is going to marry Count Maximilian Szapáry von Muraszombath, Széchysziget und Szapár.
Countess Marie-Gabrielle Therese Anna Eusebia is the daughter of H Ill H Maximilian Ulrich Philipp Eusebius Benno, Count zu Königsegg-Aulendorf and Countess Marie Valerie Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau. was born in Ravensburg in 1995, the youngest of four children. She has two older brothers, Hereditary Count Philipp and Count Nikolaus, and one older sister, Alice, who is married to Philipp Lovrek.
Count Maximilian is the son of Count Nikolaus Szapáry von Muraszombath, Széchysziget und Szapár and HSH Princess Stephanie Maria Anna Georgine Rudolfine Friederike Gobertina of Auersperg-Breunner. He was born in 1991.
Maximilan;s father, Count Nikolaus Szapáry, represented Austria in Olympic skeet shooting at the 1980 Moscow and 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games. He and Princess Michael of Kent are first cousins because their mothers, Countess Maria Anna Szapáry, and their fathers, Count László Szapáry, were siblings.
Marie-Gabrielle is a registered nurse who works with "children, adolescents and their families in everyday practice." She also enjoys photography.
