This is the third child for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank. They have two sons, August, 5, and three-year-old Ernest. The yet-unnamed baby was born at the Hospital da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal.
Baby Girl Brooksbank is 15th in line to the British throne.

Wow, you know the hospital. Not even the Palace announced that. I assumed it was because she is still in hospital & didn't want a media circus outside. Of course that might be a process of elimanation. The Luz does seem to be a large chain.
Lane, that is because someone at the hospital blabbed to Portuguese TV, which had a banner at 10 am on Tuesday (Port time). stating she had a girl at the Luz hospital. It took hours until BP was able to confirm it and put out the announcement. I expect the original plan was to give birth, go back to Portuguese home, and wait a week or so before announcing, as happened with the two boys.
Thank you for your answer. As you say, I'm sure they probably wanted to hold off the announcement until she was safely home - as they did with Ernest.
August's birth was announced the same day (9th Feb 2021) & camera's caught her leaving the hospital 3 days later.
Ernest's birth however wasn't announced until 5th June 2023 (although he had been born on the 30th May 2023).
My guess for a name is Matilda Amelia Elizabeth
