On Saturday, September 28, HRH Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark, 41,  will wed her long-time fiance, American lawyer, Matthew Kumar.   The couple will marry in a Greek Orthodox ceremony at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens.

Unfortunately for the couple, 40-year-old Kumar faces more legal trouble, which could permanently suspend his law license in California.

All of the information about the legal case is public.

I wrote about the legal issues in February.

On March 1, Kumar's suspension was lifted and his license returned to active status.  One month later,

the following was filed with the State Bar Court in Los Angeles.

Kumar's law firm, FarMar is a debt collection service.  The website has not been recently updated.

The only reference to Kumar is when he took over the firm in 2013.

It is unlikely that Princess Theodora and her family are unaware of Kumar's legal issues.   Eventually, they may return to California to live but Kumar may have to find a new career.

The final ruling will come on October 4th, which could lead to another suspension of his law privileges.

The couple became engaged in 2018.  The wedding was postponed several times due to COVID-19 and the death of Theodora's father, King Constantine II.

In 2011, the Princess faced her own legal issue in California, but the case was dropped.
