Princess Anastasia of Greece's condition "was encouraging this morning," reports the Associated Press. She was operated on yesterday for an intestinal disorder. A "serious obstruction" was found in the princess' intestines, and the doctors have declared that another operation, "not particularly serious, might be required after a few months." This operation took about seventy-five minutes, and has been described as "difficult."
The patient has been described as "cheerful." and she is able to take liquid nourishment. She has "stood the shock well," and her doctor has described her as a "courageous and exemplary patient."
