Meanwhile, Lady Elizabeth's former home, Shugborough Hall, will be having a Royal Wedding weekend, which will feature photographs from her late brother, the Earl of Lichfield's collection. Lord Lichfield too the official photographs for the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales in 1981. His collection of photographs is maintained at Shugborough. Patrick and Elizabeth's mother, Anne, and Queen Elizabeth II, were first cousins.
The present Earl and Countess of Lichfield do not live at Shugborough Hall. The family moved out in early 2010. The house and estate was given to Britain's National Trust in 1960 in lieu of death duties. The house is run by the Staffordshire County on behalf of the National Trust.
