Timothy Knatchbull writes book about his grandfather's assassination

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/mandrake/5259162/Earl-Mountbattens-grandson-finally-tells-his-story-of-survival-and-loss.html

The Hon. Timothy Knatchbull was 14-years-old when an IRA bomb exploded on a boat that he was on with his grandfather, Earl Mountbatten of Burma and other members of his family. His grandfather was killed instantly, as were Timothy's twin brother, Nicholas, and Paul Maxwell, 15, who was working as a member of the crew. The Dowager Baroness Brabourne died the next day from her injuries. Timothy survived, as did his parents, Lord and Lady Brabourne, although all sustained serious injuries.

From a Clear Day will be published in August by the British publisher, Hutchinson.

I just looked up the book. They list the title as, "From a Clear Blue Sky". It will be available Sept. 3, 2009.

The Book Depository lists the book as 15 British pounds (or 22.21 in American dollars) and includes free shipping.

Amazon.UK lists the book as 20 British pounds and does not include shipping.

Oh thanks for the post and to Ms Stephens, the Book Depository tip! The book looks very interesting; I remember when the tragedy happened.
