HH Princess Katrin of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, the widow of Prince Friedrich Josias of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, died at Grein on July 13, 2011 after a long illness. She was 71 years old.
The former Katrin Anna Dorothea Bremme was born in Berlin on April 22, 1940. She married Prince Friedrich Josias in Hamburg on October 30, 1964, one month after his divorce from his second wife, Denyse von Muralt.
Princess Katrin is survived by her four stepchildren, Prince Andreas, Princess Claudia, Princess Beatrice and Prince Adrian (who is known as Adrian Coburg.)
