Lady Marina Windsor weds Nico Macauley

@Cassius Taylor/PA

Lady Marina-Charlotte Windsor and Nico Macauley were married on June 20th in a church somewhere in the United Kingdom.  The bride wore a gown designed by Larissa von Planta.   Her tiara is the Pearl Fringe Tiara worn by her grandmother, the Duchess of Kent; her mother, the Countess of St. Andrews; and her aunt, Lady Helen Taylor.

 Hello! Magazine appears to have made an exclusive deal with Lady Marina and Nico Macauley.

The magazine will go on sale on June 29.

Lady Marina and Nico are Roman Catholic, but is it possible that their marriage took place in All Saints' Church in Hovingham, Yorkshire?  All Saints' is a Church of England congregation. Perhaps arrangements were made to allow a Catholic service to take place in the sanctuary.

The Church is within walking distance of Hovingham Hall, where the late Duchess of Kent was born.

I assume Nico is Catholic, as he attended Ampleforth College.  His father's Thanksgiving Service was held at St. Paul's Church in Knightsbridge, an Anglican church.

On April 3, 1933, Lady Marina's paternal grandmother, Katharine Worsley, was baptized at All Saints' Church.   Nico's mother, Nicola, lives in Stonegrave, which is a few minutes' drive from Hovingham.

Look at the first wedding photo, then compare it to the church photo.   Look at the door and the window to the right.
