Grace of Monaco Princess in Dior Exhibit at Hillwood

My first visit to Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens in Washington D.C. since 2016.  The house and property were once owned by Marjorie Merriweather Post.

Currently on display is a special exhibition, Grace of Monaco: Princess in Dior.  The exhibit runs through January 8, 2023.  Highly recommended.

Princess Grace's son, Prince Albert II visited Hillwood and the exhibition on November 3.  Photos from my visit will be featured in another blog post. The weather was perfect, 78 degrees and sunny.

Thia is the hat and dress that Princess Grace wore to King Charles III's wedding as Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer in July 1981

The exhibition has a companion book, Grace of Monaco Princess in Dior, which was published in 2019.

Looks wonderful, Marlene. Visited Hillwood a year ago. Perfect fit. If anyone wonders what defines haute couture, look at the matching pattern between the overlay, and sheath underneath, of the green and white evening dress.
