This is the official time table for Prince William and Catherine Middleton's wedding.
8:30 a.m. (3:30 EST). Guests will start to arrive at Westminster Abbey. They will not be able to bring cell phones or cameras into the Abbey.
10:40 a.m. Members of the Royal Family begin to arrive at the front of the Abbey, using the west door. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, will arrive last before the bride.
11:00 a.m. Miss Catherine Middleton will arrive at the Abbey with her father and her bridal attendants and pages. As soon as she arrives at the Abbey, a press release will be sent out with all the details about the dress, including the name of the designer.
The wedding ceremony will take about one hour. At approximately noon, the newlyweds will emerge from the Abbey (to great cheers, one presumes) for a carriage ride They are expected to arrive at 12:40 p.m., at Buckingham Palace, where the official wedding portraits will be taken, and a selection of these photos will be released to the media.
1:25 p.m., the couple will come out on the balcony at Buckingham Palace for about 10 minutes. Will they kiss? Wait until April 29 to find out.
This will be the end of the television coverage. There will be no coverage of the reception nor the cutting of the cake.
The Queen is hosting the afternoon reception for 650 guests. This will not be a sit down dinner. Guests will be offered canapés and drinks. The wedding cake will be cut at this reception.
This reception will include family and friends, as well members of the foreign royal houses.
In the evening, also at Buckingham Palace, the Prince of Wales will host a dinner and dance for Prince William and his wife. Only 300 people, family and close friends, have been invited, and, according the palace, the party will "finish when it finishes." It is understood that the foreign royals have not been invited to the evening dinner.
