Lord Frederick used Scrabble to propose

The future Lady Frederick Windsor -- actress Sophie Winkleman -- revealed to Tatler how Frederick proposed to her in February.
He popped the question by using her favorite word-based board game.
Sophie told the magazine's reporter: "We were going for a picnic and Scrabble and Freddie said, 'I'll unpack the picnic and you unpack the Scrabble board.' I took the lid off and there was a question in the Scrabble tiles. It was very romantic and sweet of him."

Sophie will not be styled as The Lady Sophie Windsor because she is not the daughter of a Duke, Marquess or an Earl. She will be The Lady Frederick Windsor. If the couple have children, they will have the surname Windsor, but no title.

Unless Lord Freddie styles Prince of Saxe Coburg and Gotha, then his children will be Princes. Though his wife will still style Princess Frederick.

King George V announced in 1917 that all German titles were dropped. The Head of the Saxe Coburg and Gotha family does not consider the British to have the title of Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. British citizens's foreign titles are not accepted by British law.
