Plans are underway for the state visit of King Alexander and Queen Marie of Yugoslavia. However, the visit depends on the fate of Foreign Minister Louis Barthou's negotiations with Rome. The visit is meant to be "officially and socially of the greatest importance."
The King and Queen are scheduled to arrive on October 9. The state visit will continue through the 12, and then the royal couple are to remain in France "for a few days incognito."
They are expected to arrive in Marseille on a Yugoslav warship, where they will receive an official welcome by the Minister of Marine, and perhaps M. Barthou. In Paris, the king and queen will stay at the Hotel Place de la Concorde, and are expected to attend receptions and entertainments.
