It was a beautiful wedding. The bride really glowed and Christopher beamed throughout the ceremony. I suppose we have to call him Sir Christopher. Did you notice the ribbon around his neck?
He wore a Knight Commander's cross of the Royal Order of the Polar Star. The King named him a Knight Commander of the Royal Order of the Polar Star on 6 June.

No such think as Knight Commander in this order. He was named Commander.

As a member of the order he is a Knight. If he was granted the rank of Commander, he would be referred to as Knight Commander. There are different grades of Comander also.

There is grand commander, commander and 2 levels of knights. However, this is a Swedish order, not British. Sir applies to British knighthoods, not Swedish ones. Sir does not apply here.
