The marriage of the Marquis and Marquise de Brissac

 



On June 14, 2025, Laszlo de Cossé-Brissac, Marquis de Brissac, and Countess Maria de la Gloria Czernin von Chudenitz were married in Chudenice, Czech Republic.  The Roman Catholic service was celebrated in the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Přeštice, Bohemia.

The wedding reception was held at Nebílovy Castle, a property once owned by the Czernin von Chudenitz family.

The Marquis is the only son of Charles-André de Cossé-Brissac,14th Duke of Brissac, and Countess Larissa Széchényi de Sárvár-Felsövidek.

Princess Delia and Prince Marc-Emmanuel of Croy wth their three children, Prince Amedeo, Prince Theodor, and Princess Gloria. Princess Delia is the sister of the Marquis de Brissac.



The guests included King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium,  Prince Guillaume and Princess Sibilla of Luxembourg, Archduke  Pál and Archduchess Antonia of Austria, Archduke Joseph Karl and Archduchess Margarete of Austria,  the Duke of Croy, the Hereditary Prince of Croy, Prince Alexander of Croy, Prince Paul Clemens of Saxony,  Prince and Princess Pierre of Arenberg and their daughters, Princesses Dorothee and Alienor, Count and Countess Ludovic of Neipperg, Countess Pauline de Liedekerke, Prince Philipp of Bavaria, Prince Heinrich XIV and Princess Johanna Reuss, and Countess Tiziana of Waldburg-Zeil.

Thank you for including the wedding card from Larissa and Charles-Andre's wedding. It shows the connect from one generation to another and also testifies to the wonderful and delightful correspondence archive you have amassed.

This wedding looks legitimately lovely, and the photographs capture something of the feel of the area. So many details to love here... the bride's beautiful tiara (a perfect complement to her dress, which is not always the case imo re: tiaras), the great candids (I'm sure there are posed pics as well, but I'm a big fan of natural shots) & especially Princess Delia's charming headpiece (is it a kokoshnik, or some kind of headband?). Wishing the couple a long marriage as happy as their wedding appears to have been!
