A lovely show of gratitude to a devoted monarch, a talented and complicated woman. I'm taking this moment to appreciate how she really is a bridge from past royals to contemporary ones. She shares her nickname with her maternal grandmother, a granddaughter of QV. You show a picture of her with paternal grandfather, Christian X, a grandson of Christian IX - the OG’s of 19th century royalty.
