| Count and Countess Philipp Schenk von Stauffenberg |
Count Philipp Schenk v. Stauffenberg and Maira Tolardo-Mooser were married on October 15 at the Dom Cathedral in Bamberg. The officiant was Vitus Count von Waldburg zu Zeil und Hohenems,, a Roman Catholic priest.
Born in 1990, Philipp is the son of Count Christoph Schenk von Stauffenberg and Countess Monika of Waldburg-Zeil. Maira, born in 1991, is the daughter of Bertram Mooser and Nancy Tolardo.
The reception was held at Schloss Jägersburg in Eggolsheim.

Thank you Marlene. Bamberg cathedral was used in the filming of the Netflix series The Empress, which tells the story of Sisi, Empress Elisabeth of Austria. It has lots of dodgy embellishments and inaccuracies, exaggerations and fictions, which seem to be Netflix's speciality but there are at least some sumptuous filming locations.
Thank you, Marlene, and your photographer for this post. I was delighted to see and hear about the young Count Schenck von Stauffenberg's wedding. Familiar with this name and others pictured from Marie Vassiltchikov's excellent account, "Berlin Diaries 1940-1945.
The groom is not a descendant of Claus. His great-grandfather was a cousin of Claus who took part in the failed attack on Hitler
