It was at St. George's Chapel on June 19, 1999, when HRH The Prince Edward, youngest child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, married Miss Sophie Helen Rhys-Jones.
On the morning of the wedding, Prince Edward was created the Earl of Wessex and Viscount Severn.
The couple have two children, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, 15, and eleven-year-old James, who is styled as Viscount Severn.

As a follower of Royal Jewels I felt she had drawn the "short straw" - that cobbled together tiara was awful and the other items worn on the day not much better. As the bride of the son of QE11 I expected better. They did not have to gift her anything but clearly there are tiaras in the vault that could have been loaned
