Day 4 Djurgården, one of Stockholm's islands. I took the bus into the city, was met by Marten, a friend of Ted's. We took a bus, subway and a tram for this excursion ... oh, and a lot of walking.
The primary stops were the Vasa Museum, which houses the 17th sunken ship that was raised and rehomed here -- and rebuilt, Waldemarshudde, the home of Prince Eugen, youngest son of King Oscar II, Rosendal, the first Bernadotte palace, and a walk through the park back to public transit, ending up back in Old Town as I wanted to see the Storkykyran (the Lutheran Cathedral)
