Mrs. Leeds denies marriage

March 1, 1920 (delayed)

The New York Times reports that Mrs. William B. Leeds, who is now in Montreux, Switzerland, "has authorized an absolute denial of the report of her marriage to Prince Christopher of Greece." She says that she has "no intention of marrying the Prince," who is the youngest brother of King Constantine.

The London Daily Sketch reported last month that a marriage had taken place between Mrs. Leeds and Prince Christoper. Mrs. Leeds is the widow of one of "the leaders of the tin plate industry of America." She inherited a fortune of about $14 million dollars.
