Grand Duke Kirill of Russia, 62, is seriously ill in the American Hospital in Paris. His American doctor is consulting with French colleagues on the possibility of amputating the Grand Duke's right leg. Kirill became will with arteriosclerosis last week. He became ill shortly after attending his younger daughter, Kira's marriage to Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia.
Kirill's sister, Grand Duchess Helen (Princess Nicholas of Greece) and her daughter, the Duchess of Kent, "were constantly at his bedside."
