Alfonso & Ena arrive in Budapest
October 1, 1908. King Alfonso XIII and Queen Victoria Eugenia arrived today in Budapest. Their journey started in Munich, and they arrived at the railroad station at 3:00 p.m., where they were welcomed by Emperor Franz Joseph and numerous archdukes. A large crowd gave the king and queen and "enthusiastic ovation."
