Michael and Alison had never been to Sandringham. This was my fifth visit since the 1970s, and the first since May 2018. I was looking forward to seeing the new gardens in front of the house. I would not be disappointed.

We drove back to Cromer to check in to the place we stayed two nights earlier ... and we got the same cottage. Strange - that someone else had the middle night. Alison had made a reservation for three nights, but the resort screwed up. Instead, we had a nice visit to the Poacher's Pocket. And then it was back into the car for the short drive into town. Alison found a great parking spot. |
