It's official. HSH Prince Philipp of Oettingen-Wallerstein and H Ill H Countess Marie-Thérèse of Waldburg zu Zeil und Trauchberg are engaged to be married.
Prince Philipp-Carl Anton Eugen Markwart Notger Maria is the elder of two sons of HSH Prince Krafft Ernst Markwart Carl Friedrich Notger Maria and his first wife, Helen Lins. He was born in Munich on November 9, 1983.
The prince is a nephew of HSH Moritz Eugen, 8th Prince of Oettingen-Oettingen und Oettingen-Wallerstein.
He is a graudate of the University of St. Andrews with two master's degrees in Management and Art History. The prince is a "freelance consultant for start-ups in the forestry, CO2 certification, and renewable energy industry."
Countess Marie-Thérèse Walburga Gabrielle Diane Georgina Franziska is the eldest of five daughters of HSH Maria Erich Wunibald Aloysius Georg, Prince of Waldburg zu Zeil und Traucheberg, and HRH Duchess Mathilde Marie-Antoinette Rosa Isabelle of Württemberg. She was born in Memmingen on October 4, 1989.
The countess studied graphic design at the Design Factory International in Hamburg and has worked for the Sieveking Agency for more than seven years.
