Countess Karin Cecilia Bernadotte af Wisborg was the fourth and youngest child of Count Lennart Bernadotte af Wisborg (1909-2004) and his first wife, Karin Emma Louise Nissvandt (1911-1991).
She married Hansjög Baenkler in 1967. The marriage, which produced no children, ended in divorce in 1874

HRH Prince Gustaf Lennart Nicolaus Paul of Sweden (1884-1965) was the only child of HRH Prince Carl Wilhelm Ludwig of Sweden (1884-1965) and HIH Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna of Russia (1890-1958). Their marriage occurred in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1908, having been arranged by Maria's aunt, Grand Duchess Ella.

The marriage was not happy, as Maria preferred living in Russia instead of Sweden.
