Earlier today, Francine Gilmour popped into Fortnum & Mason to sit down and enjoy a hot chocolate, shortly after King Charles III. He popped in, not for hot chocolate, but, according to Reuters, to meet supermarket chiefs and charity leaders "to celebrate a project to cut food waste and feed those in need, which has distributed the equivalent of 11 million meals over the last two years."
In 2023, the King established the Coronation Food Project, aiming to bring together "food producers and retailers with local community groups that provide meals to those in need."
After the meeting, the King and his entourage left the store by the Duke Street entrance.
Francine knew I would be thrilled with the pictures. She kindly allowed me to post them on the blog ... thank you, Francine!!!!
To be honest, I am soooooo chuffed for Francine!!!

Hi Marlene
If you live in Canada, because they are the owners of F&M, Holt Renfrew sells a limited range of products - plum pudding, Charbonneau & Walker, etc.
The Western family owns all of them, but products are also available in the US. I stock up on Fort’s T when I’m in London.
Hi Marlene. I am sure you mean the Weston Family. They also hold the lease on Fort Belvedere. Cheers.
Yes I did .. I am well aware of who has the lease for FB ... it is in fact, the original lease started by Gerald Lascelles Autocheck can be stooooopid
