HH Duke Philipp Konstantin Wittekind Raimund Clemens Hans-Heinrich of Oldenburg is the second son of Christian Nikolaus Udo Peter, Duke of Oldenburg, and Countess Caroline von Rantzau. He was born in Lübeck on December 28, 1991. He has an older brother, Duke Alexander, and two younger siblings, Duke Anton and Duchess Katharina, who married Count Clemens Moy de Sans in July 2024.
He grew up at the family home, Güldenstein, in Schleswig-Holstein.

Fiona is a Manager with Deloitte Sustainability & Climate GmbH in Berlin. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from WU (Vienna University of Business and Economics and a Master's in Public Administration from Berlin's Hertie School.
Countess Fiona Dianora was born in Munich on August 21, 1995.

Her paternal grandmother is the late HRH Princess Marie-Adelaide Louise Therese Wilhelmine of Luxembourg, younger sister of the late HRH Grand Duke Jean. Count Andreas is a first cousin of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg. Princess Johanna's father, Duke Albrecht of Hohenberg, was the third child of Maximilian, Duke of Hohenberg, elder son of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Countess Sophie von Chotek von Chotkowa. Albrecht's older brother, Franz Ferdinand, Duke of Hohenberg, was married to Princess Elisabeth of Luxembourg, Marie-Adelaide's older sister.

Alberto Miranda, a Portuguese royal expert, was the first to report the engagement of HRH Princess Hélène of Orléans and Francisco CB Sottomayor Quinta, a pilot with TAP airlines. Their wedding will take place in June 2026. The couple has not decided on where they will marry.

On March 15, the Duke of Chartres confirmed the engagement to the French royal magazine, Point de Vue.

Princess Hélène is a great-granddaughter of the late HRH Prince Henri Robert Ferdinand Marie Louis Philippe, Count of Paris, and HRH Princess Isabelle Maria Amélia Luiza Vitoria Teresa Joana Micaela Gabriela Rafaela Gonzaga of Orléans and Braganza. Her father and HRH Prince Jean, Count of Paris, are first cousins.
