The Duke of Wellington was one of the Hereditary Peers who attended the State Opening of Parliament today. He is one of 91 Hereditary Peers who sit in the House of Lords.
The Duke, 78, was accompanied by his wife, Antonia, who was born HRH Princess Antonia of Prussia. She is the daughter of the late HRH Prince Friedrich of Prussia and Lady Brigid Guinness, daughter of the 9th Earl of Iveagh.
Antonia is a descendant of Queen Victoria:
